The Geo Consolidation service optimizes shipment consolidation by considering all shipments that have delivery addresses close to each other.

It is an add-on to the standard consolidation service, based on the same rules as standard consolidation, but with some intelligent and effective additions.
Geo Consolidation considers all shipments with the same pickup location and calculates the driving distance between the delivery addresses using Google maps.

Every shipment that has a delivery address within a certain distance from the first delivery address can be consolidated.
Specific shipment types like rush orders can be excluded from the consolidation. More info
