Working at Infodis
We will aim to get to know you well enough in order to make an informed decision. Therefore you will meet with 4 people throughout the course of a minimum of two interviews. The first interview will be orientating where we will provide you with a clear picture of the role and our company. We would like to know from you what your skills and ambitions are so that we can assess the appropriateness of your match with Infodis.
The second interview will be a more in-depth meeting. We will give you the opportunity to get a clearer picture of your future colleagues and to obtain more information about our systems by giving a demonstration of our products. Also terms of employment, salary and benefits will be discussed.
Who we are
We are a growing company which was founded in 1988. In the beginning we were a service provider for our former sister company IDS. The last years we are independent and are now serving a number of large international companies. For these companies, the European or even Global logistical operations is run via Infodis. Down time in our service is not acceptable.. Our roots are in supply chain and logistics which determines to a great extent our company culture. Solution focused, no-nonsense mentality and working together as a team to assist our customers in managing their transport flows.
All our experience and knowledge of logistics can be traced back to the business logics of our back-office software. The front-office software ( English website) gives the users the possibility to request and to add information. Currently there are a few hundred suppliers in China who are booking a container shipment on the Infodis website whenever an order is ready for shipping. The shipping company (our customer) reports the orders as ready for shipping in their ERP system which will generate an update towards Infodis with detailed information on the contents of the container. Shipping lines provide us with the schedule and status information. With this information we can trace the container anywhere in the world. Via our dock planning module we can plan the delivery of the container. For checking the freight invoices our customers are using the self billing option or the Freight Invoice Control module with which the EDI freight invoices are being checked by our system. Our customers are very satisfied with our services which saves them time and money.
